There is no doubt that newsies pretty much everywhere are excited for the return of Ron Burgundy and Anchorman 2. There are 2 new trailers out promoting the return of the hilarious news crew.
Many people may think that professionals who work in the news would scoff at this movie. There are probably some real "Serious Journalists" who do.... but those are the ones being mocked in this movie- and isn't it appropriate then?
Come on- you gotta be able to laugh at yourself. I would say in this business it's even more important to have a sense of humor because sometimes we have too much serious news to tell you about.
Most of my colleagues embrace this as a funny tribute to our crazy career. This time around they are delving into 24 hour news-- and I can't wait. I wish I could have been an extra in it. Too funny!
