It's Facebook Official

So, you know what they say "It's not official until it's on Facebook". Well, I got hitched! Funny thing is I've been married longer than I wish to admit- because that means I'm getting older than my mind thinks I really am. Apparently my husband was making some updates to his profile and he put that he was married to me and put the date down. That sent a request to me to confirm and without even thinking about it... I did.

Then my Facebook timeline started lighting up. Apparently quite a few people were happy about this joyous news. Like, Like, Like. Oh, and then the fun comments from friends and family. I'm actually surprised more of them didn't chime in with smart comments to tell you the truth. We have an eclectic group of friends. Heck, if you know us personally- then you know we fit right into that group in our own special way.

The sweetest comment came from my dad:

I also remember a young, reckless airman, that I had to bail out a few times, but he has matured!(not bailed out in the legal sense- just in the foot in mouth sense- I might add)

Donavan Kenney is a good man, a good provider, a good father, honest as the day is long and a man I am proud to call my son-in-law!

Donavan loves my daughter with all his heart and I am glad he married my daughter!

Donavan - I love you!

My husband will likely use that reference in the future. Ha ha 

So, anyways- thanks for all the well wishes. Had I known all of you would want to congratulate us we would have registered some place. I'll still take checks and cash if you're feeling generous.
