Battle of the Heater

This is a CONSTANT BATTLE in my home. I am always frozen... I mean FROZEN!!! Just yesterday if you stopped by my house you would see me wearing a sweat shirt, sweat pants and my Uggs! It can be the middle of the summer and I will be all bundled up!

I'm COLD!..... and my husband will be dripping sweat!

This battle isn't limited to the home. All us ladies in the office are wrapped up in blankets... but we've been told the building is the warmest it's ever been! THAT CAN'T BE!!! We're COLLLLLLDDD!

What gives? Apparently there's an actual biological reason why this is.  Researchers have found that on average a woman's hands are 3 degrees colder than men but our core body temperature is warmer. We are keeping the inner organs warm because we have less body and muscle mass. Some researchers also say its because we need to keep the baby warm when we're pregnant.

Anything we can do about it? Suffer! UGH... or buy an electric blanket! I got my second electric blanket for Christmas... and already it is starting to wear out!
