It's not everyday that you get to be surrounded by your closest friends with sparklers cheering you on, but Amazing Abby's life isn't ordinary- so this tribute is kinda perfect. Yesterday the beautiful 5-year-old celebrated her "Best Day Ever" marking the end of a 2-year-long journey being treated for leukemia by taking her last pill with loved ones around her.
This special day, for Amazing Abby was provided by a loving organization called Maddie's Mark. The charitable organization was created by Erin and Matthew Musto after the loss of their beautiful daughter Madeline from a rare inoperable brain tumor. I am in awe of Erin's drive to make a difference in people's lives. She has turned her tragedy into activism for others dealing with unimaginable obstacles. Erin said that Maddie had a way of bringing people together and she was wise beyond her years so what better way to celebrate her life than to carry on her mission to make other people's lives brighter.
