Game Of Thrones

Can anyone tell me what the amazing appeal is to this show? I admit- I do my best not to get invested in a series because I work crazy hours and am busy from before sun up to sun down. I am one of the most scheduled people I know. So, when it comes to television shows- I pick shows that don't take a lot of investment... or frankly brain power.

Here's what I like to watch... don't judge! Duck Dynasty, Flea Market Flip, Pawn Stars, Biggest Loser and Dancing With the Stars. The last two shows are even subject to revolt. I usually get a few episodes in, dvr the rest and find out who wins and never go back and watch my missed episodes.

So, when my Facebook feed BLEW UP... and continues to be filled with comments such as "Game of Thrones WTF" and "G of T What just happened!?" I admit--- I felt like I was missing out on a big thing.

But, here's my problem--- now I don't want to know what happened-- because I want to go back and watch it! But isn't it in its 3rd season. I think I read there's been 29 episodes! That's basically 29 hours of my life I won't get back.... just to see the "Red Wedding"!

So, tell me--- do I really need to watch this show? Is it that good?
