Why is it when we get a nice stretch of warm, sunny weather- someone has to declare that we need rain? I mean really? Really? In my experience... it's always men who say this. Now, I don't mean to stereotype here. (Men- I do love you and value you for what you bring to my world).... annnd I'm sure there's gotta be a lady or two who's guilty of this--- I just haven't met her yet!
Meteorologist always get flack for bad weather (as if they caused it- I kinda feel bad about that) so when I hear one say we need rain... I want to remind them about all the complaints they get when we get the bad weather.
A friend of mine told me yesterday his lawn needs the rain-- and he wanted it to come fast. My husband declares we need the rain for the plants. I walk past two men at the coffee shop--- and yep, you betcha- they're talking about the need for rain! Haven't these people heard about sprinklers? They are pretty nifty.
I just don't get it.
Well, guess what--- it's in the forecast for today. BLAH.
I'm not- bring back the sun--- and FAST!
