An Arizona man hit it big when he became the second person to claim his 1/2 of the $585.5 billion dollar Powerball lottery. He wanted to remain anonymous. Arizona's lottery officials said sure- untilllll.... the Associated Press requested to know his name. By law- they had to release it.
I don't know- I kinda feel bad for the dude. I don't want to put his name out there. He's a family man with a small child and is looking forward to supporting the charities he cares about. He wants to remain private- why do we need to know who he is? So we can hate him for picking the right numbers? So we can send him a note asking for money? I would love to win the lotto some day- but I have to admit- if I win I would probably want to remain anonymous too.
What do you think- do we really need to know who he is? If so- why?
