Diet Pepsi Changes Coming

They say it's not going to change the flavor- but Diet Pepsi is changing the sweetener it uses. Apparently  aspartame, which is found in the drink now, is sensitive to heat and breaks down more easily.

It is adding acesulfame potassium now. Don't ask... I have no clue what it is either. End result is they say it will make it be more consistent and not break down so fast.

Apparently it is an effort to boost sales- despite the fact that it rakes in about $5-billion dollars a year!

Do you drink diet Pepsi? I'm basically a water girl- hardly drink soda and if I'm going to do it- I do full sugar soda!
