People were 50% less likely to have a heart attack or stroke and 40% less likely to die from one- compared to those who didn't get their shot.
Researchers looked at 4 previous studies of 3-thousand people. The average age of people studied was 60. Most include were older than 30. The findings say there were 187 heart attacks or strokes, including 65 deaths. Those who got the flu vaccine were less likely to have a cardiovascular even or die from them.
No word on the exact reason for this- but there's another reason to get your yearly shot.
