Laser Vision
Do you ever get laser vision? You know- you have a project hanging over your head or something you really want to do- but you put it off and put it off-- then one day it becomes your mission in life. You don't want to stop working on that project until it's complete.
I get it frequently... then I need to tell my hubby to watch out-- because nothing will deter me. He tells me I'm one of the most determined people he knows-- I'm not sure if he means that in a good or bad way-- I just act like he means it's great. Haha
Well, I got that way with taxes yesterday. Whoa lawdy. Taxes. I have a hate/love relationship with them. I hate doing them, but love the refund. I don't know why I don't just attack them. Its the one project I seem to always put off... them furiously work to get done to make the deadline.
Every year I vow to get them done early--- and there I am on tax day rushing to sign my papers.
Well THIS year--- I mean business. THIS is going to be the year to get them done early!
What makes me think I'm going to see success this years of all years?
It's the laser baby... I got it!
I already have the to-do list in place, papers organized and I'm in action!
Now- there are a couple ways my efforts can be sabotaged--- I need to make a couple calls for verification and documents I didn't receive and I need my husband's help on a couple things. So, I'm very aware that my success is dependant on some outside factors going my way... but I'm optimistic.
THIS is the year it's gonna happen!
So, what chore do you procrastinate on? I'd love to hear that- and how do you finally make yourself do it?
