She went from winning $43 MILLION DOLLARS... to being offered a STEAK DINNER?!?!?! Yep! All because of a "Machine Malfunction". Yeahhhhh. Apparently the machine's max payout is $6,500. Well, my question is... then how did she get a selfie with the $43 MILLION dollar award on it?
The skeptic in me questions how they know for sure it was a "malfunction", was there a witness to the inspection and who determined that they didn't need to pay? The one day multimillionaire Katrina Bookman's lawyer is quoted as saying "The machine takes your money when you lose. It ought to pay it when you win."
I have heard of SEVERAL stories like this. Check out my Google search on the topic and you will see numerous news stories. So, are all these malfunctions or are they just malfunctions when a big payout is won? Makes you wonder.
Katrinia plans to sue. Find out what the New York Gaming Commission did by clicking here.
What do you think? Is she a real winner? Or, do you believe the machine really malfunctioned?
