Twi-hard Party



It was a huge weekend in the life of a Twi-hard. Breaking Dawn Part 2 came out on DVD. I love each of the movies individually for their own reasons. This movie earned the distinction of having the best acting and an epic ending. I mean really- if there was ever a moment to turn away from the story in the books and put your own stamp on it- that was the moment. The director nailed it. I could have done without the creepy cg animated baby face- but all in all- I was so in love with this movie.

So the DVD release of the movie meant it was time to gather with my fellow Twilight Lovers for our traditional gathering when anything Twilight happens.

Here's a glimpse of the decor... obviously in Twilight colors. The cheese platter is one that is something of a signature dish at our parties. I love how my friend Kellie has such a wonderful skill of effortless entertaining. She is so amazing and makes us all feel so special.

Have you ever had an Italian Wedding Cake Martini?

Salmon and asparagus were perfectly prepared. So healthy and fresh- it was good to get filled up on these items before....

....diving into a 1/2 of a twice baked potato. Yummy.

But in the end- we did need to splurge on the desert. Cocoa dots cupcakes made for a tempting selection.

And no Twilight gathering is complete without a Wolf Bite... or two... or three. What's a Wolf Bite you ask... chocolate chip cookies and brownies combined to make oowie goowie deliciousness!
