Countdown To The Host

Stephenie Meyer's The Host arrives in theaters March 29, 2013. Now there's a new trailer out and it's getting me more excited to see the film. Remember when I told you how surprised I was to find I was looking forward to this movie after having been not so happy with the book? Well, she's winning me over with these movie trailers.

They have hired more experienced actors for this film and the director really streamlined the story to make it more to the point.

We really haven't heard very extensive interviews about this movie from the Author until recently as they ramp up for the release. I enjoyed reading this article where she went into why she tackled aliens in her first post-Twilight adventures. Apparently it's more in her wheel-house. Also- she finds vampires more fun- but she's not working on another vampire sequel (all us Twi-hards shed a little tear).
