Souped Up Was So Much Fun

I had a great time at the Souped Up On Guilderland event at the Altamont Orchard! Above is an interview I did with my I-phone with the President of the chamber Kathy Burbank. It was great to let you hear from the scene about what they do and I'll try to do that more. Once again there were some delicious soups. They were all so tasty and unique. There was one soup By 3 Chicks and a Pea that was made with spicy black bean hummus and oh the Grandma's Pumpkin soup tasted like pumpkin pie!

The money raised goes to the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce and the Guilderland Athletics program. It's fun to give out the awards and I'm honored to be asked to take part each year.

If you would like to support those causes click HERE and be sure to ask for Kathy Burbank. If you'd like to see a whole photo album of the event head on over to my facebook page.

As promised here are the winners:

Best Chili- Capital District Catering
Best Soup- Grandmas (Cream Chicken soup)
Best Stew- Mio Vino (Lasagna Stew)
Best Vegetarian- Capital District Catering (chili)
Most Unique- 3 Chicks and a Pea ( Chicken Pozole)
