Republican Nominee for President Mitt Romney has cancelled his appearance on "The View". Shortly after he was confirmed to go on the show his people followed up and cancelled and cited that he would not be able to reschedule.

So close to the election to cancel a national television appearance. Some might say that's a mistake. Others may say it's a good decision. What do you think? This comes after a video leak where Romney is quoted as saying: "The View is -- is high risk because of -- of the five women on it, only one is conservative. Four -- are -- are sharp tongued and -- and not conservative. Whoopi Goldberg in particular. Although last time I was on the show she said to me, "You know what? I think I could vote for you." And I -- and I said, 'I must have done something really wrong.'"

Instead Ann Romney will appear on the show on Thursday October 18th. That will be a show to see.

Obama has already made his View appearance.

Meanwhile Romney and President Obama take part in their second debate tonight at Hofstra University.
