Hurricaine Sandy

Hurricane Sandy... which has been dubbed by some as the Frankenstorm is churning out at sea. Sandy is expected to affect New York State with heavy rain and wind early next week although it many be downgraded from hurricane status by then.

There are 2 models that Meteorologists look at and therefore there are two predictions for this storm.
European model has it close to the shore a little more south. While that is bad news for those in the south it could be better news for those of us in New York state.

The American model has it closer to New York and that could mean massive flooding, storm surge and damaging winds. I'm told from my weather friends that Sunday will be the day we could find out exactly what we're facing.

The death toll went up over night as the hurricane continues through the Caribbean. It's now a category 1 storm blamed for at least 21 deaths.
