She took to her Twitter account to endorse Mitt Romney for president and the hate tweets came back at her with a vengeance!
E-Online is reporting that one person wrote: "You're an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You're voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot."
She reacted to the backlash in an interview and said she was saddened- but that she selected Romney based on the content of his character not the color of his skin. No matter how you plan to vote- you have to admire her focus on what she feels matters most. Do you think she should not have used her celebrity in this way? Or.. do you feel celebs should do more of this?
