Campaigning Set Aside For Jokes

President Obama and Mitt Romney briefly stepped off the campaign trail last night to poke a little fun at each other and themselves. It was part of the Alfred E. Smith Charity dinner in New York City.

The President quipped "Some of you may have noticed I had a lot more energy in our second debate, I felt really well rested after the nice long nap I had in the first debate."

Both in white ties and tuxedos, and his wife in a ball gown, Romney made fun saying "But it's nice to finally relax and to wear what Ann and I wear around the house."

CBS News had a great compilation of the one liners. Click HERE to see it.
