Inspires Me- Nicole Das

At the Guilderland YMCA I recently witnessed 17-year-old Nicole Das quietly swim 187 laps to represent the number of people diagnosed with cancer in New York every day. She raised $2,132 in her "Laps For Love" project for the Latham Branch of the American Cancer Society (Hope Club). She did this on her own, with no cameras, no cheering crowds- just a determination to make a difference in people's lives. If you'd like to donate- do so in her name to the local branch.
